Local models make an impact
Three of the models qualified in the Miss Teen section and two in the Miss Ushaka Marine World 2015 age category in the Top 25 semi-final round.
THE faces of Trelique Modelling and Promotions Agency models were a hit at the annual Miss Teen and Miss uShaka Marine World 2015 competition.
Competitors aimed to follow in the footsteps of last year’s Trelique beauty Alicia Terblanche who was crowned Miss Teen uShaka Marine World 2014.
Three of the models qualified in the Miss Teen section and two in the Miss Ushaka Marine World 2015 age category in the Top 25 semi-final round.
After they had all undergone an interview judging round, casual wear and swimwear judging round, the final Top 15 in each age category were announced.
Qualifying for these finals spots were three of Trelique’s senior models.
This year uShaka added a new age category to find their brand ambassadors for Miss uShaka Kids World 2015.
Trelique had six models qualify out of more than 260 entries into the Top 25 semi-final round. Contestants had to walk in casual wear and swimwear to qualify for the finals.
Thereafter four of Trelique’s models qualified as finalists for the gala finals.
