Learn the art of samoosa folding

One of the most enjoyed Indian snacks of all time has to be 'samoosas' – tasty, filling and easy!

ONE of the most enjoyed Indian snacks of all time has to be ‘samoosas’ – tasty, filling and easy!

However, when it comes to folding them, one mishap and the entire samoosa is a disaster!

For the best filling, you would need a short list of basic ingredients such as chillies, onions, dhania, garlic, ginger, mint, mutton mince and of course oil and salt.

Braise the mince over a high heat before adding ginger and garlic then allow it to cook for 30 minutes. Once the mixture has cooked and cooled, mix in onion, chillies, mint and dhania.

Then the intricate part comes… fortunately chef and restaurant owner Vasila Chetty shares an easy step-by-step process in folding the perfect samoosa.
