THE Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) announced the port was closed for incoming vessels from 6am today owing to adverse weather conditions.
Swells reached heights of over five metres.
‘At present, it is unsafe for pilot boarding,’ said the TNPA.
‘Port Control and pilots on duty are monitoring the situation and we will keep stakeholders informed.’
