Duo of note nominated for SAMAs
David Jenkins and Maqhinga Radebe have been nominated for SA Music Awards.
From the roots of Empangeni, accomplished Maskandi musician David ‘Qadasi’ Jenkins is excelling in the industry after receiving a SAMA (South African Music Awards) nomination for Best Traditional Music Album for his latest release ‘Uhambo Olusha’.
Friend and mentor Maqhinga Radebe also received a SAMA nomination for Best Maskandi Album for his release ‘iFacebook’.
Both first time nominees will be attending the SAMA’s at the Sun City Superbowl on 19 April
