Thanda seek vital win

Thanda Royal Zulu face tough opponents.

SIX points are effectively at stake for Thanda Royal Zulu FC as they take on Cape Town All Stars at the uMhlathuze Stadium on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 3.30pm in this must-win encounter.
With 37 points, All Stars lie in fourth place on the National First Division log, just one point behind the Amabhubesi.
Thanda, in turn, are a single point behind Jomo Cosmos and trailing top team Golden Arrows by three points.
At this stage of the season every game becomes in effect a knock-out fixture.
Win on Saturday, and Thanda could even go right to the top – depending on the outcomes of the other matches.

Lose, and they could drop a place to fourth.
All Stars are on a massive winning streak and will certainly be no push-over.
Thanda have probably the best homeward run of all the title-chasing sides in their remaining eight fixtures, with four of their opponents in the bottom six.
But, as coach Vladislav Heric says, wins against the top teams are the most important.
And it starts on Saturday, where hopefully a big crowd will be there to spur on an Amabhubesi side who are giving everything they can to bring PSL soccer to the City of uMhlathuze.
