Fire extinguisher thief on the prowl

On two occasions Mtuba Mall has had fire extinguishers stolen from the premises.

MTUBA Mall Manager Maria Rankin has issued a warning to all business owners and residents about fire extinguisher theft.

On two occasions Mtuba Mall has had fire extinguishers stolen from the premises.

The suspect, recorded stealing the extinguishers on the centre’s CCTV, allegedly informs security guards that he is collecting extinguishers to service them, but fails to return them. Rankin believes other malls have experienced the same problem.

A case has been opened at the Mtubatuba police and anyone with any information on the whereabouts of the stolen items or the suspect is urged to contact Mtubatuba SAPS on 035 550 0017.
