Fighting against school bullying

Anti-bullying drive at Boardwalk Inkwazi Mall.

HUNDREDS pledged against school bullying during the Boardwalk Inkwazi Shopping Centre’s ‘Stop Bullying’ campaign in Richards Bay on Saturday.

Local poets recited their poems, while dance groups set the stage on fire with their killer moves.

The purpose of the event was to create an awareness against bullying, and offer information and assistance to victims.

‘Many pupils are victims of this act, and we wanted to create this awareness early in the year. It’s important for pupils, teachers and parents to understand the impact of bullying,’ said Boardwalk Inkwazi Marketing and Public Relations Manager, Angelique Wright.

Winners of the ‘Stop Bullying’ school poetry competition were also announced during the event, and received prizes courtesy of the sponsors.
