Leisure Gardens' Care Centre gets upgrade with help from the Rotary Club of Empangeni.

THE much anticipated new extension to Leisure Gardens – a care centre – is fast approaching completion.

The Rotary Club of Empangeni, utilising funds raised last year through the Madiba evening, fulfilled their promise to provide assistance.

This came in the form of cupboards and counters for the nurses station/reception area, storage cupboards, as well as waterproof cupboards and counters in the laundry wet room. The four sets of cupboards were made to special requirements by Rotarian Vince Reed, owner of Umfolozi Wood Creations.
