A WOMAN was shocked to find the remains of a dead gecko embedded in her vanilla muffin.
The discovery was made at a private function held in Mtubatuba last night.
The ‘gecko muffin’ was part of a selection of snacks ordered from a store in Empangeni on Sunday for the function.
Host Sakhile Nzuza approached the manager and was told that all complaints should be sent directly to the company’s head office.
However Nzuza has received no formal apology.
‘Constantly trying to contact the head office has been a waste of my time and money,’ he said.
