AN Mtunzini man stumbled upon a grisly find at the mouth of the uMlalazi River this morning.
Charles Samuel was taking a stroll along Mtunzini beach when he discovered a partly clothed body lying near the river mouth.
Mr Samuel alerted the police who were on the scene within an hour.
Police suspect the man had drowned further up the river yesterday.
