Bay aims for successful season
Midbay Motors and Standard Bank have got on board in terms of sponsorship this season.
RICHARDS Bay Rugby Club are putting in the hard yards, with plans of having a hugely successful 2015 season.
The local club who tasted great success last year in the first division, has lost a handful of players, but have gained with players returning from Varsity Cup and other provinces.
‘The new players will give us a boost this season in terms of experience, skill and with what they have to offer,’ said head coach Graham Beukes.
The club practices every Tuesday and Thursday at the Richards Bay Rugby Club from 6pm to 8pm.
Trials will be held on Tuesday, 10 February and Thursday, 12 February.
The Richards Bay 1 and 2 sides will take on Newcastle away on 7 March and Vryheid at home on 14 March in a pre-season friendly.

The coaching staff for 2015 are as follows: first team – Graham Beukes (head coach), Charl White (assistant forwards coach) and Nino E’Silva (manager); second team – Wallie Coulson (backline coach), Corne Deetlefs (forwards coach) and William Bezuidenhout (manager); third team – Eugene Lendders (head coach) and Wallace Erasmus (manager).
