Fuel price drops this week
The drop in the fuel price is a gift for cash-strapped holidaymakers.
HOLIDAYMAKERS feeling the post-vacation pinch will be particularly pleased to hear that the petrol price is due to drop by a magnificent R1.27 a litre this Wednesday, January 7, making the journey home a lot less painful.
The Department of Energy made the announcement, adding that the price of diesel will drop by between R1.04 and R1.05 a litre.
In further good news, the price of illuminating paraffin will drop by R1.44 a litre and that of liquefied petroleum gas by R2.10 per kilogram.
