Youngster killed in motorbike accident

Kyle Williams' funeral will take place on Tuesday, 6 January at the Methodist Church

A YOUNG man was tragically killed in a motor bike accident which took place near the Richards Bay port on Tuesday evening.

Kyle Williams, a 23 year-old biking enthusiast from Brackenham was on his way home from work when the accident occurred.

Although devastated by their sudden loss, his mother, Denice and father, Charles agreed their child died while doing what he loved.

‘Kyle was passionate about his bike and work. The ironic thing is that he was always so safety conscious.’

‘He also loved cars. As a child, he would always get excited to play with cars, and up until this age, he worked on doing up his car,’ Denice said.

Grief-stricken family and friends took to social media with an out-pour of condolence messages and tributes, with one of his colleagues describing him as the ‘light’ of the crowd.

‘We only have memories of the jovial and one of a million kind of person you were,’ said Sharon Govender.

Kyle was Head Boy at Richards Bay Secondary in 2011.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday, 6 January at the Methodist Church (corner of Krewelkring and Angler’s Rod), at 10am, thereafter proceeding to the Stanger crematorium.
