EVEN load shedding could not stop the crowning of Miss Summer 2014.
Like they say in show business ‘the show must go on’.
Hosted by Pumza Nenemba of Miss and Mr eShowe, the show was a success at King DinuZulu Hall.
Various local artists kept the crowd entertained, but none did it quite like DH Fam, the local’s favourite.
With their energetic bars and hooks, they received a standing ovation.
Lacking predictability the choosing of a fitting contestant was not that easy for judges as all the girls excelled.
Taking third place was the beautiful Nosisa Khanyile.
Narrowly missing the number one spot was the tall, gorgeous Nomandla Shabangu.
The stunning Asanda Sibiya was flawless with her striking looks and elegant walk topping the rest and snatching the number one spot.
Indeed even the crowd agreed.
The teary queen welcomed the new crown with great joy, ending the day on high note as she upholds the title of Miss Summer 2014.
