Racists need to grow up

IT’s disturbing to hear that people are still being discriminated against because of the colour of their skin.

The article in last week’s Zululand Observer on racial assault is disturbing and appalling.

The fact that we still live in a society where people make rude comments that can be avoided shows how little our society is thinking.

As a young individual, I do not want live in a society where the past can make its way back into my generation.

I hope that people can grow out of this trend and live in peace and harmony, and if they fail to do that, then let them avoid talking down to others for no reason.
