TWO people died and five were left critically injured in a head-on collision yesterday morning along the N2 highway near the Mpoza off-ramp.
On arrival, Netcare 911 and other emergency services found victims still trapped in the wreckage at around 11.40pm.
‘We cannot speculate on the exact cause,’ said Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) spokesperson, Caleb Wang.
Once stabilised, paramedics transported the injured victims to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation by the police.
