Motor dealer drives Christmas charity project
Bakkies to collect donations will be at the Inkwazi Boardwalk Shopping Centre and the other on the corner of the Meerensee Mall.
THIS festive season, YOU can make a difference by joining the Richards Bay GWM Auto team in their Charity Project initiative, by donating Christmas gifts to the less fortunate.
While the holiday season sees many people bursting with festive cheer and kids counting down the days for Santa to appear, it’s also a reminder to others of how little they have to look forward to.
For this reason, GWM Auto have decided to shed some joy on the situation by positioning two of their branded bakkies in central points where the public can drop off any non-perishable gifts.
‘Nonperishable food, clothing, toys and anything that can brighten up the next person’s life is more than welcome,’ said Project Organiser Kobie Bisschof.
‘We would also like to thank the public for their support in this initiative of giving back,’ he added.
Zululanders can find two GWM branded bakkies parked off, with one inside the Inkwazi Boardwalk Shopping Centre and the other on the corner of the Meerensee Mall.
The vehicles will remain stationary right up until 18 December, with the motor dealer’s staff available to accept and load the gifts.
All goods collected will be handed over to the Zululand Observer’s Charity DICE (Do I Care Enough?) charity.
DICE will then distribute these gifts to the various charitable organisations on 20 December.
