Metro FM hits Richards Bay

RADIO Metro FM hit our shores for the official media launch of the 14th Metro FM Awards to be staged in Durban on 28 February.

The purpose of the launch was to provide updates on the event and also announce the City as one of the destinations which will host a live public viewing area for the awards event.

Amon Mokoena and Siphokazi January aired their show live from the Waterfront in Richards Bay.

The presence of the station caught the ear of many local listeners, who later joined in the celebrations at popular party place, King’s Lounge.

William Lehong and Refiloe Mpakanyane were masters of ceremony and Luthando Shosha from Live Amp was another special guest at the event.
