A RICHARDS Bay employee was robbed of a substantial amount of money on Monday morning while en route to the bank to deposit the cash.
Walking through the Bellingham Park Shopping Centre with the business takings at about 10.30am, the man was approached by armed men who demanded the cash and fled.
The Richards Bay police are investigating and Lt Col VC Pillay asked anyone with information about the incident to phone 035 9012428.
