Tight lines, great weather

A TOTAL of 130 anglers took to the water of the Goedertrouw Dam as the 15th Phobane Bonanza took place over the weekend.

The organisers, eShowe Social Fishing Club, could not have hoped for better weather, with the wind only picking up on Sunday.

A total of 77 fish were weighed-in.

Jason Banks presented the prizes.

And early diary entry is the date of next year’s bonanza – Saturday and Sunday (3 and 4 October).
