A third occupant of the vehicle, a woman, was rushed to hospital in a critical condition.
A car carrying three Johannesburg holidaymakers and a taxi collided on the R102 between Mandini and Gingindlovu on Saturday.
All three occupants of the car, including an eight-month pregnant woman, died on impact.
One of the taxi’s occupants was also killed in the accident and eight others injured.
