Miss and Mr eShowe 2014 crowned
Meet Miss eShowe, Andiswa Wagner and Mr eShowe, Mzi Khoza.
YOUNG men and women competed for the Miss and Mr eShowe crown at King DinuZulu Hall on Saturday.
With each contestant desperately wanting to snatch the crown from last year’s winners, Andiswa Wagner and Mzi Khoza, they gave their all as they took turns on stage.
Contrary to popular belief ,beauty contests are not about how beautiful one is, but is whether one can walk the walk and talk the talk, said Prince Shongwe who was one of the judges.
Before giving out the judge’s ruling, he gave some pointers to the girls to help them to smooth out some of their mistakes and encouraged them to continue doing a great job.
Taking third place with the gents was Madoda Nxumalo, while the second place went to Simphiwe Ncayiya and snatching the crown for Mr eShowe 2014 was the young Ntobeko Cele.
Biting their nails were Anele Gazu taking (First Princess) and Sinothando Nxumalo running up as Second Princess.
The teary Minenhle Mkhwanazi was crowned the new Miss eShowe 2014.
