IN a tough away game during the weekend, Thanda Royal Zulu did well to come back with a point after a 1-1 draw against Baroka FC.
‘The boys fought hard and had a couple of great chances but luck did not go their way,’ said Amabhubesi GM, Thabani Gumede.
‘Baroka are a good side so we did well to hold them on their home turf.’
After a bye this weekend Thanda will again find themselves up against one of the NFD’s top contenders when they host unbeaten Vasco da Gama at the uMhlathuze Stadium on 13 September.
