Pastor murder conspiracy case postponed

Regional court prosecutor raises questions.

THE court case of two Richards Bay men facing charges of conspiring to murder Brackenham Pastor Daniel Munisami, was postponed to 11 September for queries raised by the regional court prosecutor to be rectified

Kishore Maniram (51) and Sunker Jugdeo (55) were arrested earlier this month, granted bail and made a second appearance in the Richards Bay Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.

Their bail of R1 000 was extended and the conditions included not interfering with the investigation, witnesses or the complainant.

According to the charge sheet, the two accused conspired with Zwelathe Tembe in July and August 2011, and then Thulani Myeni between January and March this year to kill Munsami, the senior Pastor of New Life Church in Brackenham .
