Fuel prices – world best and worst
Fuel prices from around the world according to Bloomberg Financial.

In Venezuela cheap fuel is considered a birthright and the current price for a litre of happy juice is R0.42.
That means that it costs Ernesto a mere R60.06 to fill the 143-litre tank of his 6.2-litre, V8 Ford F250, Doble Cabina.
Ernesto’s cousin, Jose, who’s a bit of a poofter and opted for the smallest hatch in the Ford Venezuela range, can expect a fuel bill of R37.80 per month.
That is if he drives 2 000km (two tanks).
On the other side of the world, and fuel price chart, is Sven, from Norway.
Sven coughs up a whopping R27.96 for a litre of petrol.
Luckily for Sven, Fjord Norway stocks the Fiesta with the super frugal 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine.
But Sven can still expect to pay R2516.4 per month if he wants to drive 2 000km, like Jose.
That is a difference of R2 478.6 for the same vehicle.
Needless to say, Sven cannot afford to drive a F250 Doble Cabina pick-up truck, and therefore Ford does not offer it in Norway.
So, if you think that you are paying too much for fuel, here in South Africa, then move to Venezuela.
It’s not much different from SA; being one of the most violent countries on earth with a person murdered every 21 minutes.
You should feel right at home.
But if you dream of leaving the doors unlocked while you sleep, then Norway is perhaps the way to go.
You can leave your bicycle against a tree, anywhere, and it will still be there when you return.
The chain frozen solid though.
