RICHARDS Bay Christian School pupil, Dennis Clarke claimed seventh position at The Speed Weekend in Brakpan, Johannesburg on 8 and 9 August.
The local speed freak, competed at the Rock Raceway against 22 racers in the Ninja Midget class.
Dennis finished seventh, averaging 19.677 seconds, a lap and 60km down the straight.
Clarke will compete at the Regionals Event in Richards Bay on 30 August.
Dennis is trying to build up experience for the Nationals on 1 November.
