EVERYBODY was delighted including ‘Captain Jack’, the new miniature, baby North African donkey, at Dayspring Farmyard on Thursday when representatives from Richards Bay Coal Terminal (RBCT) handed over a cheque of R10 000.
The donation will go towards rebuilding Dayspring Farmyard’s stables which housed a number of ponies and donkeys, eight of which perished when it was razed to the ground at the beginning of the month.
RBCT General Manager: Human Resources, Judith Mzimande, RBCT Corporate Affairs Manager, Qcina Nhleko and Sustainable Community Development Committee Member, Thokozani Zwane handed the cheque to the grateful Dayspring Farmyard owners, Dave and Les Ervine.
