Budding young scientists from Grantleigh College joined pupils from across the north coast to take part in the regional finals of the 2014 Eskom Expo for Young Scientists held at the University of Zululand last Thursday.
Through a long day of judging and interviews, the students gave a very good account of themselves, producing some fine results in the process.
Of the 12 projects entered by the Grantleigh students, none left without recognition.
Multiple medals were awarded as well as many pupils walking away with the ‘best in category’ titles.
Special awards were given to Wade Stevens (Eskom Special Award for Energy Efficiency), Hilton Hoffman (Casio Special Award) and Tessa Hubble (Edutrade Special Award).

Its good to see upcoming young scientist achieving . Big ups to them .
