No evidence of Ebola virus on ship

Measures are in place to stop the risk of the virus spreading into South Africa.

IN a statement released by the ship, Hammonia Pacificum‘s agency, it has been confirmed there is ‘no evidence’ of Ebola on board the vessel.

‘Richards Bay Port Health has advised that there is no evidence of the Ebola virus on the mentioned vessel’.

‘Additionally, they advise that they, in conjunction with various other authorities, are designing and implementing (and did for this particular vessel, too) various measures to mitigate the possible risks’.

  2. Its so scary to know that you can contract Ebola @ work. I also happen to work at the harbour so yesterday (11/08/14) we had a serious toolbox talk before we worked aboard MV Kota Bahagia as we were advised her last port of call was in Nigeria. So we had to avoid any physical contact with the crew.
