PREPARATIONS are underway for the royal marriage of King Goodwill Zwelithini with his sixth wife to be held at oNdini in Ulundi during the weekend.
The 27-year-old Swazi bride, Zola Mafu, has been engaged to the king for the past nine years.
The palace is already a hive of activity as traditional leaders gather and send good wishes to the king.
More than 4 000 guests have been invited to the ceremony including ambassadors, senior politicians, members of the judiciary and international and local traditional leaders.
Spokesperson for the organising committee, Nhlanhla Mtaka, said the celebrations will begin on Friday with the welcoming of the Swazi delegation.
