A 21-year-old woman was arrested on a charge of conspiracy to commit murder.
The arrest was as a result of the KwaDukuza SAPS being approached on Tuesday, 15 July by a man who was hired to kill a woman in Darnall.
Police accompanied the ‘hitman’ when he met with the suspect.
While the officers were in strategic observation points, the woman allegedly handed over R1 500 to the hit man as a deposit.
