Tyron claims first pro win
Local pro-jetski rider claims his first pro win at the US Pro National Tour.
LOCAL pro-jetski rider Tyron Motzouris claimed his first pro win at the third round of the US Pro National Tour last weekend in Reno Navada.
Tyron competed in the highest ranked category, the Pro Men’s Ski GP category alongside his brother, Dustin.
Each national tour round is held over two days, where the pros run one moto on Saturday and two motos on Sunday, which is streamed live on U stream.
Motto one saw Motzouris take an early lead on the first lap and led from start to finish.
Unfortunately Dustin suffered mechanical issues, which did not aid his cause.
Tyron carried his form into motto two, where he claimed another win, with brother Dustin claiming third.
Going into motto three with a comfortable points lead, Tyron managed to claim second behind his brother Dustin.
‘Taking this win was a great achievement for me as this is my first pro win,’ said Tyron.
‘I will be going to compete in the World Finals in Lake Havasu City, Arizona in October.’
The Pro US National tour is a six round series, starting on the East coast in Florida and working its way around the country.
