THE man accused of the rape of a young women and the double murder of two men has been denied bail.
Xolani Mpanza (20) appeared at the Richards Bay Magistrates on Wednesday afternoon and the bail hearing was postponed to Friday.
Mpanza is being charged with the murder of Mozambican nationals John Sithole (45) and Thulani Mtimbane (39), and also the rape of a woman.
According to police reports, Sithole, Mtimbane and the woman were attacked while asleep in their home on 13 June at around 10pm.
