Ndumiso vies for the king’s crown

A ZULULAND hunk could be crowned Mr South Africa.
Ndumiso Shandu of eShowe is currently in 17th position in the top 50 of the contest.
Born and bred at KwaKhoza in the rural area of eShowe, his first love for modelling started when his mother working at Kwa-Hashaza farm, brought him magazines which inspired his modelling passion.
He went to Kwa-Nogobhoza Primary School and matriculated at Phindulimi High.
He is currently doing his second year in Information Technology at the Durban University of Technology.
When he went to Durban to further his studies, the modelling seed was still growing within him.
Following his passion he started doing photo shoots for Famous Cosmi Black which opened up doors for him to enter competitions such as Mr DUT Fresher and Mr KZN Top Model Finalist.
After applying online for Mr SA he was surprised and excited to receive an email approving his application.
He believes that modelling and fashion can bring about positive social change.
He has worked in 19 fashion shows where all proceedings went to charities for the disabled.
