RUGBY, netball and hockey took over the fields at Grantleigh College on Saturday when they played against Pongola High School.
It was a wonderful day of very competitive sport played in fantastic spirit by both schools.
After some close, very evenly matched games, both schools walked away with a sense of achievement.
The results at the end of the day were: Netball went to Pongola 24 to 18 while the girls’ hockey went to Grantleigh. Grantleigh also won the senior rugby by 57 to 24.
The junior netball was won by Grantleigh with a score of 18 to 11 while the junior hockey girls from Grantleigh took the win 7 to 0.
The junior rugby was a different story and after a great game by Pongola, the junior boys won 48 to 0.
