A man died after being thrown from his bakkie when it rolled on the John Ross Parkway near the Greenhills intersection on Saturday night.

His fiancée, who was trapped in the vehicle, was freed by rescue workers and taken to hospital with serious injuries. No other vehicle was involved in the accident
