Talented teen writes songs with a twist

Former Zululander singing her way to the top

Former Zululander, Kaiti Faul, is living the dream as she sings her way to the top.

The young singer/songwriter has had a passion for music since a young age and has found herself landing major gigs at popular music festivals, including Splashy Fen Music Festival and White Mountain Festival.

This talented young lady does not only have a strikingly unique voice, but she is also a brilliant songwriter, composing over 110 songs since she was eight.

Faul’s love for music blossomed quickly, as she started playing the guitar at the age of 14 and later began focusing on writing love songs – with a twist.

Her inspiration over the years came from local and international artists, as well as her promoter, C-Weed Entertainment Promotions owner Pedro Carlo, who has supported and believed in her from the start.

During her school years, she was part of the school choir at Felixton College and joined the KZN Youth Choir when she was 15, before moving to Hilton.

She matriculated in 2013 at Epworth in Pietermaritzburg and is now taking a gap year to travel and promote her music.

With her crazy sense of humor, infectious laugh and wacky style, Kaiti knows how to draw the crowds.

Her next gig is at the White Mountain Festival in September after she returns from her two-month trip to England where she will be giving the locals a taste of her amazing talent.
