AN alleged love triangle resulted in a fatal stabbing at Kwamsane Reserve on Wednesday.
According to a KwaMsane police report, Albert Khoza (62) was walking home from a bar with his girlfriend, Duduzile Meane, who at the time was also dating another man.
While making their way home the couple were reportedly confronted by the second boyfriend.
‘An argument broke out and Meane was ordered to come home with the second boyfriend. She refused and ran away, but returned to his house later where it is alleged he assaulted her.’ said Captain Mdletshe.
After the assault Meane fled the premises and made her way to Khozas’ house where she spent the night.
The following day Khoza left the house to go to work.
‘Minutes after he left, she reportedly heard someone breathing heavily outside the door and found Khoza bleeding from a wound on his forehead.’ Mdletshe said.
He was taken to the nearest clinic, where he was certified dead.
