THIS letter is also addressed to the KZN Minister of Education, Ms Peggy Nkonyeni.
There is concern about the boarding school at Mlokothwa High School in Nongoma.
Although the school produces scholars with excellent academic results, the boarding facilities at the school are in a shocking state.
I wish the Minister would visit that school to see it for herself.
There is no water, and the toilets, showers, dormitories and security are terrible.
The children are drinking water from tanks that are not even closed on top.
It is one of the best schools with regard to its results, but I think the school deserves a better place for its pupils to board.
I am not writing to the newspaper about this school because I want to expose it, but I am trying to do what I can for the benefit of the pupils.
I am a parent who has children in the school and I think we as parents would like our children to be in a better place, for the betterment of education
S MYENI
