eShowe trio stand out
High Schools in Zululand sent eight of their best rugby players to trials.
THREE eShowe High School rugby players got selected for the Zululand U18 rugby squad that will travel to Vryheid on 7 May in hopes of being selected for the Northern Natal side.
High Schools from the Zululand area sent eight of their best rugby players to Mick Kelly Park, Empangeni on Wednesday afternoon for the U16 and U18 boys Zululand Rugby Trials.
Players took part in four, 20 minute chukkas.
The Northern Natal squads will go to Pietermaritzburg on 20 and 27 May for KZN Craven Week, KZN Academy and KZN Rural Team selections.
The local boys will only be able to make the Craven Week or Rural teams.
