Poster war in Bay
Tampering with election posters is a serious criminal offence.

WITH just two weeks to go to the national general elections, four men were arrested for damaging election posters in Richards Bay on Tuesday.
Richards Bay police officers were patrolling the R619 at 6.30am when they spotted the four men tampering with the posters in Arboretum.
They were taken to the Richards Bay police station for questioning.
Police spokesperson, Captain Debbie Ferreira, confirmed that a case had been opened and the suspects will appear at the Richards Bay Magistrate’s Court today (Thursday).
Captain Ferreira reminded the public that tampering with election posters was a serious criminal offence.
this story just reminds me of what i witnessed few weeks ago. 2 white boys aged about 8/9 were kicking an ANC poster as it dropped lower on the pole. This made wonder what is being discussed in those kids homes about politics or even the black race. This incident saddened me.
