He’s a champ!

YOUNG Felixtonian Caleb Picton stood out from scores of young rugby players at the Grantham Park U9 Rugby and Hockey Festival, which took place recently.

His determination, talent and sportsmanship saw him named as the ‘Rugby Player of the Day’ at the event, an accolade awarded by the officials and teachers involved in the event.

The young man, who is in Grade 3, was congratulated by his school mates and teachers at a prize-giving assembly at school in the week following the event.
