Justine sprints her way to the top
The 26-year-old speedster broke her record at SA Champs.
ESHOWE sprinting queen Justine Palframan won the ladies 200m and 400m events at the SA Senior Championships in Pretoria.
The 20-year-old speedster broke her personal best time of 23:22 seconds in the 200m race, when she crossed the line in 23:11 to win the race.
Justine was slightly slower than her best in the 400m, but still won the event in 52:48 seconds.
She matriculated at eShowe High School and is studying for a BSC Sports Science degree at the University of Stellenbosch.
Her role-model is Muhammed Ali and her current SA ranking is second in the 200m and third in the 400m.
She will be competing in the Varsity Athletics Championships on Monday 14 April in Johannesburg, on Monday 21 April in Stellenbosch and on Monday 28 April at the Unversity of Pretoria (Tuks).

Just a few corrections to this article if I may. Justine is only 20 years old. She is currently ranked first in both of these events. She is the only South African individual athlete to have gained both the u23 and Senior champion titles in two events this year. Her times qualify her to compete at the African Senior Champa to be held in Morrocoater this year. She is competing in the SA Srudents meet on the 25 the and 26 th April as well as the SA Open in May, in addition to the Varsity Cup athletics… I also have current photos of her competing at the various events .
