DEFENDING ladies champions, Empangeni Hockey Club, modeled their new kit for the 2014 season on Tuesday evening.
The women’s team that dominated the 2013 season, got their 2014 campaign off to a great start on Sunday, when thrashing Unizul 10-1 in the opening round of the league in eShowe.
The side will play its next fixture on Sunday, 30 March at Addison Park, Empangeni.
They will come up against the experienced Vets side at 9.15am.
‘We would like to thank Mayfair Gearbox for the match shirts and McCarthy Inyanga, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge for the 10 match balls that were donated for the season,’ said Empangeni Hockey Club secretary Sonya Kleynhans.
