WORK-BOUND motorists were frustrated this morning after an accident caused chaotic traffic jams in the Richards Bay CBD.
A number of busy routes were cordoned off and drivers were forced to take detours after an interlink heavy haulage truck collided with two cars at the intersection of Ysterhout and North Central Arterial (R619).
There were no serious injuries, but a vast amount of diesel was spilled onto the road and City Traffic and Fire Department personnel spent two hours clearing the scene.
