The R66 / R34 road between Nkwaleni and Melmoth (Melmoth Pass) is closed due to an accident.
A truck transporting biscuits jack-knifed and collided with an on-coming Coca-Cola truck earlier this morning.
There were no injuries.
The Road Traffic Inspectorate expect the road to be closed for most of the morning.

Jack-knifed ?? Sounds very odd to me .There is no trailer seen here,so how did the truck manage to jack-knife? My thoughts are judging by this picture that the driver was going just a “tad” to fast and was possibly driving over the solid line !
How does a non articulated truck jack knife?
I suspect he tried to “drift” like in the movies and the coke truck slammed into him.
