THE third edition of the Zululand Oddball Olympics will be held at St Catherine’s School in Empangeni on Saturday, 8 March.
The Oddball Olympics is a fun, team-building event where teams of eight adults compete in 12 outrageously silly games.
The type of games that have been featured in the past two years include, three-legged soccer, spinning yourself ‘til you’re dizzy before throwing a ball at a pyramid of cans, and building skyscrapers out of plastic crates, not to mention a whole lot of slipping and sliding.
This year will showcase no less than 10 new games, so those past participants, who thought that they could get comfortable in the knowledge of what to expect, might be a little surprised at what they find on the field.
Go on, enter a team, whether you’re representing a business, an organisation or are just a group of friends looking for some fun.
Teams are made up of eight adults, at least two must be women.
The cost per team is R800.
There will be food and drinks on sale on the day.
