Chance for budding soccer stars to shine

THE man who first spotted Ronaldo and launched his professional football career with Sporting Lisbon at the tender age of 11, is in Richards Bay this week hoping to find another soccer gem.

The Durban Under 19 international football tournament is scheduled to take place for the first time in South Africa from 31 July to 9 August.
A technical team headed by international coach Paulo Cardoso will conduct trials at the Richards Bay Sports Complex from 9am on Friday and Saturday this week.
This is a project in partnership with SAFA, eThekwini and KZN province.
