TWO people were injured after a truck and a car collided on the R102 between Empangeni and Mtunzizni this morning at about 9.15am.
‘Paramedics arrived at the scene and found two patients that had sustained serious injuries. After medics stabilised the injured, they transported them to a local hospital for the care that they required,’ said Chris Botha from Netcare Limited.
Botha added the exact cause of the accident and preceding events will ‘remain a subject for police investigation’.
