Zululand tennis team ready for KZN Inter-district tournament in March
THE Zululand Primary School tennis trials were held on Saturday, where players smashed and volleyed their competition to be selected for the Zululand team, which will represent Zululand at the KwaZulu-Natal Inter-district tournament (trials) in Pietermaritzburg during March.
Players came from namely Pongola, eShowe, Richards Bay, Empangeni and Mtunzini.
After the first round, eight boys and eight girls were left to battle it out for the top four places.
The 2014 Zululand Primary school tennis team – Tiaan Vivier(Richards Bay Primary), Johan Fourie (Richards Bay Primary), Rueben de Bruyn (Grantleigh), Brad Reddy (Holy Childhood), Nicola Wheeler (Mtunzini Primary), Emily Cobbald (Mtunzini Primary), Kayla Talmage (Mtunzini Primary) and Sayuri Naidoo (Grantleigh).
